Personal Support Assistant
FULL TIME & PART TIME CARERS / PERSONAL ASSISTANTS REQUIRED IN THE BRIGHTON AREA
£10.50 per hour days, £11.00 per hour waking nights and £65.00 per sleepover
We are recruiting a team of Personal Care Assistants/ Carers to support our client who is starting a degree in Fashion Communication with Business at Brighton University in September.
This role is varied; you will be supporting attendance at University and all aspects of Uni life. Our client has a physical disability and she wants to make the most of her time at University. She takes great pride in her appearance; and likes fashion blogging, YouTube and socialising.
This role will also include providing personal care, medication administration, therapy assistance, domestic tasks and social support.
During term time she will be living in halls of residence in Brighton where you will support her. During student holidays and occasional weekends she will spend time at her family home in Harlow, the team will also be required to support these trips.
About You:
You must be flexible, adaptable to any situation, self-motivated, friendly and reliable.
A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
You must be prepared to travel to Harlow during holidays and occasional weekends, for family home visits. Travel expenses will be paid to Harlow.
Previous care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full specialist training will be given.
Part time team members must be able to work 24 hours per week Shift Pattern: Brighton
16 hour day shifts plus sleepover
12 hour waking night shift. Shift Pattern: Harlow
12 hour day shift
12 hour waking night shiftYou will be working within a team providing care and supportall year round.
The shifts are on a rota basis and will include working someweekends and bank holidays.
Rate of pay:
£10.50 per hour days, £11.00 per hour waking nights, and £65.00 per sleepover.
Travel costs (mileage/ train ticket) will be paid for travel when providing support at the family home in Harlow.Staff Benefits including:
