Hours of work are based on a 37.5 hour week, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00.
The On-site global project manageris an opportunity for global travel and sales with Hunter’s client, a large aircraft component support specialist. This is a unique vacancy because you will be project managing for 2 to 6 weeks at a site somewhere in the world before moving onto another country or another site; so this vacancy requires a person committed to constant travel. The On-site globalrole is to manage aviation customers’ on-site material requirements and assist with logistical issues and monitor all aspects of the project, providing high level customer support and service. It involves leading the on-site project and promoting our client’s products and services, playing a key role in achieving sales and marketing targets.
We are looking for:
- Background in Marketing & Sales within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of Aircraft Components.
- Ability to change and adapt to changes in the aviation industry and customer requirements.
- Willing to travel extensively as and when required.
- Ability to recognise and adapt to different countries and cultures and accustomed to cultural habits and ways of communication.
- Recognise and react to customer priority requirements.
- Good leadership skills and ability to mentor colleagues or team members while able to prioritise and manage workloads.
- Ability to plan, coordinate and delegate work.
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven financial achievements.
- Experienced in contracts legal terms and provisions.
- Problem solving ability.
- Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical thinking and reporting skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent command of the English Language and other languages advantageous but not essential.
- Self-motivated with the desire to succeed.
- Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Customer facing experience is desirable
Responsibilities:
- Grow, assist, promote the service for on-site representative business in regional sales teams.
- Trade inventory by means of sale, exchange, loan or lease by quoting customers and pursuing opportunities.
- Provide dedicated on-site service, managing logistical and parts required.
- Lead and develop trading and business opportunities at all times.
- Ensure all team members understand customer’s culture and way of trading on-site.
- Monitor market trends and developments to enhance our client’s role in the respective area.
- Support account manager visits to specific targeted customers, identify business opportunities and generate leads.
- Ensure delivery of high-level customer support and service in accordance with customer expectations.
- Organise, lead or participate in negotiations of offers and contracts.
- Monitor sales activity & performance; ensure maximum revenue/profit is achieved by reviewing data such as quote to sale ratios, on-site service P&L.
- Attend regular internal business review meetings.
- Support regional teams and train staff to understand requirements of the business and representative service.
