Job Details

Role: Operations/Project Manager
Salary: £40,000k per annum
Location: Southwick
Start date: Immediately available

We are currently looking for someone who has had experience of managing a warehouse or facilities and is always looking to make improvements in the working environment. It would be great if you have managed a small team and know how to get the best out of people through effective and motivational delegation. My client is ideally looking for someone who has set up Warehouse Distribution centers previously, and covered Project Management/organised projects previously.

You will need to lead by example and be a real team player. You will need to be organised, good at planning/organising, we are looking for someone who has experience in setting up distribution centers or supporting all business acquisitions. You will hold experience in managing the building maintenance and warehouse supervisions.

If you have logistics, project management and warehouse experience, then this is the perfect role for you.

Main Duties:
* Organising and running regular warehouse meetings with staff
* Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
* Setting up Distribution Centers
* Organising events
* Ensuring maintenance and facilities are managed day to day
* Handling all customer and staff issues
* Liaising with HR department
* Staff training
* Accountable for KPI's
* Reviewing KPI's, costs and procedures for the best coaching for all staff
* Managing the growth of the team/different departments
* Overseeing stock control, handling inventory control
* Overseeing Goods in and Goods out

The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Previous project management experience
* Previous Operations Management experience (preferably within a warehouse environment)
* Excellent communication skills
* Leadership skills
* Ability to set and meet targets
* Manage change within a department/business
