The Directorate at IDS are seeking to recruit a Board & Governance Officer to provide support and guidance to ensure the effective governance and business management of IDS. This role is the ‘go-to’ person for help and information about a range of governance and management matters and is responsible for keeping up to date and accurate a range of public and private information about the Institute on its web and intranet pages.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing high level committees or management groups and have sound knowledge and practice of Board business cycles and excellent communication skills to write and edit governance documents for the Board. This is a position of high trust so applicants should have complete discretion and be able to work with tact and sensitivity.
