In this role, you will work predominantly within the Enterprise Services team whose role is to identify opportunities to apply academic expertise with partner organisations and commercialise academic knowledge. You will provide administrative support across the team's activities, including co-ordinating responses to external enquiries, administering an internal funding scheme, supporting bid and policy development, and providing secretarial support for working groups and team meetings. You will also contribute to cross-departmental activities including monitoring budget expenditure, and administering SharePoint document storage and internal webpages.

To be successful in this role, you will need administration experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to:

•deliver a proactive customer service

•work proactively, collaboratively and flexibly with others to ensure effective service delivery

•produce clear, grammatical, concise, timely and appropriate written communications

•plan and prioritise a range of work activities, meeting sometimes conflicting work deadlines

•work as part of a team, sharing good practice and developing effective professional relationships with colleagues

•communicate complex procedures or difficult information in a clear, sensitive and diplomatic manner

•understand issues around handling confidential and sensitive information

•apply numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Contract Length: 12 months
