Project Engineer with language skills required! If you are a budding Project Engineer / Ingénieur de projet / Ingeniero de Proyectos with at least 2yrs project experience, then please get in touch. Any Spanish or French, in addition to fluent English, would be ideal. This 200 strong company require an ambitious and energetic project engineer to join an existing team of 6. The project engineer will be taken under the wing of one of the senior managers and trained to a senior level.
The role involves:
Strong planning and organisation experience
Teamwork
Analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication, both written and spoken
Technical knowledge in software or engineering or manufacturing
Degree educationThe project engineer will have the opportunity to work on live projects almost immediately. Working closely with internal staff and end customers. Responsible for project delivery, beginning to end.
As Project Engineer your job will be to manage product design, build, test and despatch you will be responsible for engineering and improving work flow. Projects typically run from 4 - 8 months and some travel will be required. Your role will be specifically covering:
Full life cycle Project Management
Problem solving and identifying improvements
Working with team in implementing new product/component improvements
Specification and design documents
Documentation & report writing
Work closely with shop floor, sales, new product development and senior management
Liaising with clients and supporting through to project completion
Technical environment would include working within a software and hardware environment - so any language / web skills a plus!Any project methodologies useful but not essential. This is a growing and require someone with the intelligence and common sense to get projects moving.
French language would be very beneficial to your application & willingness to travel and work in France on occasions.
