Cloud Technical Engineer

Cloud Engineer required on a permanent basis for a client based in West Sussex.

The Cloud Engineer will be integral to a Cloud migration project which will see you relocate from an existing private cloud to an Azure Cloud environment. You will be vital to developing and producing Azure based architecture documentation, providing recommendations as you progress. Furthermore you will be in charge of the installation, configuration, automation and monitoring of the various cloud services (IaaS, PaaS).

Key Skills and Experience:
* Azure (SQL, Data Warehouse)
* API Integration
* IaaS (Virtual Machines or Virtual Networks)
* Networking: configuring a site-to-site connection
* Azure Automation
* Additional knowledge of Exchange and Mimecast an advantage
* Security and disaster recovery technologies
* Experience of DevOps tools such as Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage but not essential
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC), VMware, CloudFormation, Terraform etc.)

Additionally, you will be someone who possesses high prioritisation skills, working calmly under pressure and has strong communication skills.
