Job Details

Chailey Heritage Foundation is seeking to recruit a CQC Regsitered Domiciliary Support Manager to directly manage our domiciliary care service which provides highly specialist care in the home and the community for children, young people and adults with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments and associated health needs.

As our Domiciliary Support Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary service ensuring the delivery of outstanding quality care. Reporting to the Head of Community Operations, in this varied and rewarding role you will be involved in converting new client enquiries, care planning and conducting risk assessments ensuring compliance to relevant legal and regulatory requirements and managing a team making sure that exceptional service is delivered to our clients and workloads are managed accordingly.

 What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a supervisor or senior care worker or other role within a care providing organisation
  • A commitment to quality and providing the best support possible to the children and young people within our care
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to achieve within first twelve months 
  • Awareness of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and The Care Act 2015
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to meet the demands on the business, including management and participation in the on-call rota
