Support Worker - Saltdean

Support workers required to work with adults who have learning disabilities and physical disabilities including autism, downs syndrome and PMLD.
Based in a residential unit in Saltdean, just outside of Brighton you will be working closely with adults in a residential setting, offering support and assistance throughout your working day.
You will be working for an expanding organisation with 10 homes across the south east, giving excellent career and training oppourtunities to their staff, you will also recieve excellent ongoing support in your daily job role.
The service is easily accessible by public transport from Brighton, Newhaven and Eastbourne. Plus your employer will pay 25% of your travel costs.
You will be perfect for this role if you have a positive "can-do" attitude and are happy to be challenged daily. There is an element of challenging behaviour but this is currently very well managed and not a huge issue in the home, as a support worker you will be trained to deal with this behaviour.
This role would suit a candidate with a minimum of 3 months experience working with adults who have learning disabilites as it would give an excellent oppourtunity to develop a career and learn new and up to date skills.
