Since 1995 Smith & Western have been serving great tasting fresh food, mouth-watering cocktails and belly busting deserts in our authentically themed restaurants across the South. We are a family run restaurant with over 20 years’ experience. Our passion and drive are still as strong as it was on the day we opened our first restaurant. 

We are looking for Assistant Managers who share our passion to join the Smith & Western team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant, and ideally at least 2 years Floor/Restaurant Management experience.
  • A strong character who is used to managing a large team but also be very guest focused.
  • A calm and organised individual with a structured approach to shift management
  • Bundles of common sense and a friendly and exuberant personality
  • You will have experience training a large team to get the best results

Our Assistant Managers are expected to be hands on and lead from the front, setting an example that your team will happily follow. Making sure we provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be working closely with the General Manager and Area Management team, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the start in building the team and ethos for the newest restaurant in our group.

Back in 1995 after several trips to Nashville Tennessee and the lone star state of Texas the Cox family opened the first Smith & Western with a mission to spread some of that easy-going Southern hospitality and wholesome food they came to love. From the success of the first restaurant Smith & Western has gone onto opening its doors across the South East of England spreading its good food, cold beers, blended cocktails and great western atmosphere to the millions.
