An independant childrens home based in a quiet residential area of Crawley is currently recruiting for support workers to join their team.

The job role will involve you working in a busy 6 bedded home for children aged 11-18 with EBD and challenging behaviour, you will be involved in the day to day running of the home and be charged with forming relationships with the young people and ensuring their safety, helath and well being.

You will be working as part of an experienced team who are all experienced residential workers and will be able to pass information and spport you in your day to day role. The manager is looking forward to meeting people for interview and beginning the process.

The job role comes with very favourable hours and involves working 2 long days per week and 1 short day, plus sleep in shifts when required. This is a great benefit as you get 4 days off per week!

You will be working in a home which has recently been rated "outstanding" and has a very low staff turnover, offering great support and assistance.

An NVQ 3 is preferable but by no means essential as all previous experience working with children and young people is considred.
