Vacancy description
The employer will be interviewing throughout the advertisement period.
The successful apprentice will be working with fully qualified gas engineer. Some of the key tasks will include:
- Replacing boilers
- Refurbishment of kitchens and bathrooms
- Hot and cold water plumbing
- Central heating systems.

Training to be provided
Apprenticeship Certificate (Pass, Merit or Distinction)
Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating
Gas qualified: CCN1 Core Domestic and CENWAT Boilers and Water Heaters. On completion candidates will be able to get gas safe registered
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths (equivalent to GCSE grade A-C or level 9-4) unless exempt.

Things to consider
It is preferred that applicants wishing to apply has one year of plumbing experience due to a college course.
The successful apprentice will learn from a qualified professional as well as attending college one day per week at either the Eastbourne Campus, located in Hampden Park or at the college's construction centre located in St Leonards.
