Healthcare Assistant - 20 hours per week

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a passion for delivering high quality care within a community setting.

The successful candidate will join the High Wealden Community Nursing team based in Crowborough, supporting the delivery of holistic health and social care to patients within Crowborough and its surrounding communities.

Community and healthcare experience is desirable but not essential as preceptorship is offered and tailored to your needs, helping to build your confidence, knowledge and skills within the community setting. As a Trust we are committed everyone's professional development, offering a wide range of programmes and study opportunities designed to expand your knowledge and skills, as well as facilitating opportunities for career development.

As part of the Community Nursing team you will share responsibility for a caseload of patients supported by a Case Manager, and as part of the wider team you will benefit from the varied skills and experience the Community Nursing team have to offer. You will be required to work autonomously, but you will have access to support where necessary to ensure quality care delivery.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for a career within healthcare, or an existing HCA who wants to develop their clinical knowledge and practice within the community.
