We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic and friendly team based at Crawley Hospital. This is a full time post, split between inpatient and community settings, but part time hours (22.5) for the inpatient setting only may be considered. The post is being offered on a fixed term contract, until January 2022.

The successful candidate will see patients on the stroke and medical wards at Crawley Hospital, and community patients across Crawley, Horsham and Mid Sussex in their own homes, nursing homes and outpatient clinics. They will work on a varied caseload of both progressive and non-progressive conditions, with adults presenting with a range of communication and swallowing difficulties. They will need experience of interdisciplinary team working, supporting junior colleagues and students, training delivery, and involvement in clinical governance activities. Post-qualification dysphagia training and experience is essential.
