An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified Staff Nurses to work in the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) 5-19 teams in West Sussex, offering support to children, young people and their families.

There are several posts available across West Sussex.

We are looking for individuals who have a strong interest in public health, early intervention, teaching and safeguarding, and who are effective communicators and team players.

You will be working as part of a 5-19 School Nursing team.

We offer a full induction programme, and a mentor to support your probation period. The service offers robust clinical supervision and staff development forums.

You will work closely with the six HCP 0-5 teams across West Sussex, and in partnership with schools, children and family centres, GPs, and the voluntary sector.

SCFT offers excellent support to staff, including training opportunities, e.g. gaining experience prior to applying for the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse course (Health Visitor or School Nurse) at one of our partner universities.

A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work independently are required; applicants must have a valid driving licence and the use of a car available for work.

Full and part time posts available. Flexible working patterns may be available.

This post may close earlier than the published closing date if sufficient applications are received.
