Job Summary

As the Portfolio Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring clients receive the highest level of support from set up to dealing with queries, all the way through to renewal.

Main Responsibilities

Maintain and develop relationships with all assigned clients and ensure that each client receives excellent customer service through correct expectation setting, timely and professional delivery of all services, and regular updates on new products.

Provide a fast, efficient response to all external or internal queries including liaising with suppliers, clients and colleagues.

Source, negotiate and analyse supplier offers for contract renewals.

Produce detailed and relevant analysis and take accountability for self-checking to ensure accuracy, providing resolution to anomalies identified.

Maintain an understanding of all services the Company has to offer and maximise client revenue through identifying new opportunities to enhance the services the client receives.

From time to time, undertake client visits with account managers or attend meetings with suppliers as part of relationship development.

Work closely with colleagues in all departments to ensure processes are followed and where flexibility is needed all parties clearly understand how the service is to be provided to the client

Report any complaints following the agreed internal process.

Keep fully up to date with energy pricing and market intelligence, legal carbon and energy efficiency legislation and market drivers and trends.

Support the wider needs of the business as and when reasonably required

Person Specification

Experience of working within the energy industry, ideally in a customer service or account manager role.

Be educated to degree level or hold practical experience in a similar role. • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Extremely organised with the ability to work under pressure and use initiative to proactively manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.

Proven experience of accurately maintaining records, databases and creating reports. • Focused, with a strong attention to detail and proven ability to undertake tasks required to a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to demonstrate basic analytical skills with a systematic approach to problem solving.

Proficient in MS Office programmes.

Flexible and adaptable working methods, including the ability to adopt new skills and processes.

General

Whilst this will be a predominantly office based role there may be occasions when client, supplier or other office visits are required from time to time.
