East Sussex College are seeking a number of enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated people who have the right skills and qualities to engage, motivate and support students to achieve.  

Based within the maths and English curriculum area at one of our campuses successful candidates will work with teachers to support students whose learning and progress may have been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be working primarily with students at level 1 and level 2 and those who have not yet achieved GCSE English and maths at grade 4. This may be through 1:1, small group tuition, interventions and workshops. 

Ideally candidates should have some relevant experience of working with young people in a teaching, tutoring, coaching or learning support capacity. The roles are fixed for one academic year in the first instance.

There are a number of roles at different campuses, to help us to allocate the right person to the right role please can you state your preferred campus i.e. Lewes, Hasting, Eastbourne and Role in your application.
