An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to take up the position of Senior Infection Control Practitioner within Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust (SCFT).

The successful applicant will work as part of a team delivering a service to a wide geographical area, supporting all aspects of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) in community services and intermediate care units.

The key outcomes will be an improvement in patient safety and experience evidenced by the reduction in healthcare associated infections (HCAIs), ensuring a high degree of preparedness through good infection, prevention and control measures, and leading effective IPC response to outbreaks, thereby minimising their scale and impact.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of an experienced and committed team in a forward-thinking organisation. If you are hardworking, innovative and committed to making a difference, then we look forward to hearing from you.
