Fixed term until July 2021

The post holder will be an enthusiastic and committed teacher who will be responsible for teaching SIA Security short courses designed for job-seekers. They will work within the Programmes for the Unemployed department where flexibility, responsiveness and vision are key attributes we look for in our team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to manage the specific individual needs of the students. There is scope to deliver on a range of PFU courses.

The post holder will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent administrative and organisation skills plus high-level written and verbal communication skills.  Excellent IT skills and a customer service focus are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative and be proactive and positive. You could be looking at working towards a professional teaching qualification and this can be supported by the college.
