SCPHN - Health Visitor, 22.5 hours per week

We're looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and motivated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor to join our specialist infant feeding team/healthy lifestyles team, part of the 0-5 Healthy Child Programme in West Sussex.

The infant feeding team provide specialist support to families with breastfeeding and infant feeding issues and the healthy lifestyles team provide support to families and children around healthy lifestyles and unhealthy weight issues.

Our service in West Sussex has achieved full Unicef Baby Friendly accreditation and we recently received the Unicef UK Baby Friendly Gold Award.

The Healthy Child Programme works in partnership with school nurses, early help staff at children and family centres and multi-agency teams to deliver the best outcomes for children. Staff joining our teams receive two days of infant feeding training, along with promotional guides training and speech and language training.

SCFT offers excellent support to staff with regular high quality supervision, wellbeing support and opportunities for personal and professional development.
