A rare opportunity has arisen for an organised individual to support the development of virtual hubs across SCFT to deliver an integrated and timely service for children and young people in the care system.

Applicants will need excellent IT skills, the ability to use data and collate reports as required, and highly developed communication skills to liaise internally and with partners such as the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and local authorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day to day administration of the Looked After Children (LAC) services from within the LAC Hub, ensuring there is a high quality secretarial and administrative support service provided to the clinicians delivering the clinical service.

The post holder will have specific responsibility for developing the pathways and processes related to the hub, ensuring the provision of high quality health assessments in line with statutory guidance. The role will include managing the systems and processes within the LAC services and the administration teams for LAC and Adoption.

There will be the opportunity to assume responsibility for specific projects to establish and maintain effective office systems and processes within the department in order to progress business priorities. In addition, the post holder will have the chance to undertake project work without supervision and research issues as directed by the Named Doctor and Nurse as well as conducting reviews and audits for specific projects to ensure quality.
