We are currently looking for Residential Support Workers to join a fantastic specialist care home for young males. The care home is set across four rural locations between Horsham and Guildford, and so your own transport is essential.

You will be working with young males aged 12-18 years old, who have experienced various degrees and types of trauma. You will act as an excellent role model for these young people, providing support and guidance towards independence and adulthood. You will undertake various tasks around the home as necessary, creating a caring and stimulating environment for the young people in your care.

You will be incredibly well supported by all staff members and management teams, and will receive ongoing training, regular supervision, and the support of group consultations.

You will need to be aged 25 and over to be considered for this role. You will be rostered 5 shifts per week, including early, late and weekend shifts, which includes one sleep-in shift per week.

NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 3 or above in Children and Young People’s Workforce, or other relevant qualification is desirable.

This is a full-time position; salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.

This is a temporary role, with the potential to become permanent after a 12 week placement for the right candidate.

If you are shortlisted, you will be asked to complete an application form. If successful, you will be invited to interview.

Interviews are currently being held, so don’t delay in sending your up-to-date CV over to our expert team for consideration.
