Apprenticeship in Customer Service
We are looking for an apprentice to learn about different administrative functions and tasks across a number of the areas in the GP surgery. This includes administration, secretarial, front office/reception and nursing team
Apprenticeship summary
Weekly wage £195.00 Working week Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch break
Total hours per week: 32.50
Expected duration 12 months
Possible start date 08 Mar 2021
Apprenticeship level Intermediate Level 2 (GCSE)
We are seeking an apprentice to learn about the function within a GP Surgery and to offer support to a number of the teams to include front office / reception, secretaries, administration and nursing.
You will learn how all aspects of a GP surgery work and this role will give you a good insight into some of the careers available to you.
You will learn about:
- Processes and procedures
- Bookings and referrals
- Ordering
- Dealing with correspondence coming into the surgery via post, email and other electronic methods.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience of dealing with patients on the telephone and face-to-face.
