Job Details
The role will give full training on all aspects of book-keeping. We will also provide software training and certification as well as giving the Apprentice opportunities to fulfil their potential.
Apprenticeship summary:
Weekly wage £187.50
Working week: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, with 1-hour for lunch. There will be one working day on day release at the college. Total hours per week: 37.50
Expected duration 21 months
Possible start date 30 Apr 2021
Apprenticeship level Advanced Level 3 (A level)
To start we will get you certified on our main bookkeeping software’s being, QuickBooks Online, Receipt Bank, Auto Entry and Servicem8.
Once certified you will be fully trained up by the bookkeeping team on all aspects of the role so you can become responsible for recording, analysing and reporting on client’s financial information.
Duties will include:
- Manage a client base speaking to clients on a daily basis
- Provide bookkeeping for clients
- Carry out bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor reconciliations
- Expand knowledge and research apps to aid the bookkeeping function

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.
