Kitchen Assistant/Commis/Chef

The Best Connection have a great opportunity for experienced kitchen staff to work for our client based in Poynings, Devil's Dyke. This role includes a range of general kitchen staff duties from preparing food to porting. The position is available straight away with a view to obtain a permanent contract for the successful candidate.

Roles and responsibilities for Kitchen staff:

• Cooking food on the menu to a high standard
• Assisting head-chef
• Food preparation
• Kitchen portering
• Following Food Safety and Hygiene guidelines accurately
• Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area at all times

Requirements for Kitchen staff:

• Previous experience required 
• Must be a team player to fit the close-knit team
• Food Safety knowledge
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with a quick menu

Due to the location of the job, it is best to have your own transport available. 

Hours: 11.00am - 18.00pm, working 4 days a week (including weekends), days and hours vary depending on business peak and meal prep.

Pay: £11.00 per hour
