An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Receptionist to work in the Clinical Assessment Unit at Crawley Hospital.

The Unit provides facilities for the rapid assessment and treatment of patients that do not require admission to an acute hospital but require further clinical assessment and intervention in order to prevent further deterioration. The service currently provides urgent ambulatory care Monday - Saturday including bank holidays from 07:45-20:15 hours.

You will be required to answer phones, greet patients and others, make appointments, arrange referrals, book transport, assist with electronic medical record maintenance, updating data sheets, arranging room bookings and other duties.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to promote patient centred care.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic and energetic and have proven interpersonal skills. Good IT skills and ability prioritise workload is essential.
