Full-time - 37 hours per week
We are seeking to appoint a Quality Improvement Manager who will drive quality improvement at GBMET by providing analytical, administrative and project management support to the Principal. Within this role they will lead on the collation, analysis and evaluation of college performance data and information from other sources for the purposes of providing qualitative and quantitative reporting to a range of users within GBMET.
They will also be responsible for ensuring that internal quality assurance procedures are in place, are effective and meet the requirements of the College and our external awarding organisations. By working with the curriculum departments, they will act as an advisor and support managers to interpret their data and to agree what actions will be in place to drive up standards.
You will require to be educated to degree level and hold a teaching qualification with evidence of continuing professional development. You should have experience and evidence of preparing and analysing complex data for self-assessment and inspection purposes with experience of developing and implementing robust quality assurance processes which have delivered significant continuous quality improvement within budget. You should be able to demonstrate excellent working relationships with partner organisations and employers with experience of successfully working with teams to prepare for/respond to awarding body visits or similar. You should also be able to show experience of successfully managing the performance of others including setting and meeting objectives, line management supervision and mentoring in order to effectively meet agreed targets.
