An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Phlebotomist to join our team, undertaking venepuncture as requested by other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and undertake venepuncture, under the supervision and guidance of qualified staff, to patients living in their own homes. They will also have administrative duties including phoning patients, data input using systm 1 and sending information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Our Communities of Practice are multidisciplinary, combining community nursing and proactive care teams. Communities of Practice are the core element of a wider system responsible for coordinating care delivery to patients on the caseload. Care is organised around individuals' identified needs through collaborative working by service providers.
The post holder will need to be an experienced phlebotomist with excellent communication skills.
