Vacancy description
The apprenticeship may start before the expected start date.
You will learn the following skills:
- Knowing your customers
- Understand the organisation
- Systems and resources
- Their role and responsibilities
- Product and service knowledge
- The customer experiences
- Interpersonal skills
- Influencing skills
- Communication skills
- Personal organisation
- Regulations and legislation
- Dealing with customer conflict and challenges.
You will also carry out the following duties:
- Use of the telephone
- Manage diary systems
- Book meetings
- Produce, file, retrieve and archive business documents
- Use and maintain office equipment
- Maintain the company's social media profile
- Handle customer calls and emails
- Handle calls and emails from suppliers and contractors
- Order materials
- Liaise with insurance companies
- Maintain a well organised workspace.

Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
- Experience using Microsoft office programmes: Excel and Word
- Use of the telephone
- Use of email such as Outlook.
Personal qualities
We would like you to be:
- Well organised and punctual
- Confident and able to ask questions
- Happy to work in a team or alone.
Desired qualifications
GCSE grades C or above, or A* and above or equivalent in:
- English
- Maths
- ICT if possible.
Future prospects
There will be future prospects at the company for the right apprentice, we like to promote within the
company and hope we would be able to take the apprentice on as a full time team member once
completed.

Training provider: EAST SUSSEX COLLEGE GROUP
Training to be provided
- Apprenticeship Certificate (Pass or Distinction)
- Customer Service Level 2 Diploma (optional
- Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade D-E or level 3-2) unless exempt.
Your training will amount to 20% of your paid time and will be delivered direct to you on a one-to-one
basis over a 18 month programme.
Apprenticeship standard: Customer service practitioner.
