Fixed term until 1st September 2022
Full-time - 37 hours per week
Based at our West Durrington Campus
We are seeking to appoint a Credit Control Officer to ensure all outstanding debt owed to the college is pursued on a timely basis. You will be liaising directly with students, general public and other members of staff to obtain missing documentation or establish suitable payment methods and to process payments. Also offering advice regarding instalment plans, benefits evidence, continual professional development forms and sponsor confirmation forms to be completed, as per the college fees policy. You will also be acting as primary intermediary contact for external college Credit Management Company and other key external stakeholders.
You will require proven experience in a similar Finance role with a successful history of achieving targets and reducing debts. You should also have high level IT skills, in MS Excel, MS Word and experience of Financial Systems. You should possess good communication and customer service skills, in person, on the phone and in writing; with an ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, learners and external representatives. The ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment and to be detail oriented and accurate is also essential.
