Greater Brighton Metropolitan College are seeking to appoint an experienced ESOL practitioner to deliver an a high quality teaching experience for 16+ and adult ESOL learners. We are looking for a sessional lecturer who will be able to provide cover and also have some regular teaching sessions and work as part of our experienced ESOL team.
You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, and a CELTA as a minimum teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). You also require experience of teaching ESOL at all levels and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
You will also be responsible for assisting with managing all aspects of the student journey, including student recruitment, tutorial and pastoral support, course induction, curriculum planning, teaching, learning and assessment, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, management of student records, student achievement, and all associated course and quality related administration.
