21 hours per week, 36 weeks per year, permanent post.

£19,767-£22,282 p.a. pro rata.

We are looking for a proactive team player to join our small Wellbeing team. The successful applicant will work with a caseload of students and support them in removing barriers to learning and to help them to improve their attendance. They may also be required to support with college events and assist with group work with students.

The postholder will work closely with the Safeguarding Manager and the Heads of Curriculum to provide flexible support for identified students who are considered ‘at risk’ of not achieving their learning aims in order to increase and improve student attendance, retention, achievement and progression; and to identify and report any identified safeguarding risks with students.

Successful candidates will have experience in identifying young people’s needs and developing appropriate responses. Knowledge around safeguarding and mental health will be particularly useful for the role. 

This post is subject to a DBS check.

Closing date: 13th August 2021 with interviews the following week.
