5 Red Star, Award winning Utopia Spa, 58 bedrooms including the new luxury Cedar Lodge development and a 2-bedroom self-contained Gatehouse are available for guests.

2 Award winning restaurants, Reflections Restaurant (2 Rosettes x 60 covers), AG’s Restaurant (3 Rosettes x 35covers) together with a range of conference and banqueting and private dining rooms catering for 8 to 95 guests.

Join Darrel Wilde, our Executive Chef and his team creating award winning dishes across a range of fresh menu choices. Our Kitchen Brigade creates dishes for our 3 Rosette Grillroom, 2 Rosette Reflections Restaurant as well as our Banqueting, Room Service and Lounge operations.

  • Working with a team of 16 chefs and 6 Kitchen Porters

·The Sous Chef will be reporting directly into the Restaurant Head Chef (for 2 Rosette Reflections of 3 Rosette AG’s Restaurant)

  • Flexible shifts covering breakfast, lunch, dinner service including weekend working (5 days per week)
  • Quality experience in a fresh food environment required
  • The passion and drive to contribute to the future success of the kitchen brigade who continue to develop award winning dishes
  • Ability to train, coach, develop, motivate and enthuse a young, committed team to deliver excellent standards of cuisine across the full range of kitchen departments
  • The flair to contribute practical, costed and exciting dishes for our range of menus
  • Achieving rosette quality food while effectively managing the GP, stock and wastage

·Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are achieved meeting legal and company requirements

·The ideal Sous Chef will have previous 3 Rosette or 5* hotel experience

·The ability to demonstrate the delivery of consistent quality dishes in a working trial

·The Sous Chef will have the management experience to be able to assist in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety

·The Sous Chef will have the drive and ability to be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved

·Working 5 shifts per week 48 hrs per week

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

  • 4 weeks holiday rising to 5 weeks with service
