This is a fantastic apprenticeship that will need successful applicants to be fully dedicated to their learning and developing their skill set. We are a customer focused organization with friendly working environment based in Worthing town center.

An excellent opportunity to work close to professionals foreign currency, where the applicant will be trained to learn the entire operational process of our business.

You will be joining our administration team to work alongside them as follows:

  • Providing office support including customer and employee support
  • Using spreadsheet to record day to day transactions
  • Keeping well organized files and records of business activity
  • Answer incoming customer calls and enquiries to the office
  • Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
  • Ordering office stationary and other supplies
  • Building relationship with clients
  • Communicating with suppliers and business partners
  • Regularly update business website and different electronic marketing channel
  • Preparing documents by printing, copying and binding
  • Collecting and sorting post
  • Participating and contributing business planning and setting strategies.
  • Contribute to improve current business process
  • Handle foreign exchange transactions for customers
  • Maximize store revenue by upselling and cross selling
  • Processing of debit/credit card payments and perform cash handling accurately 
  • Adhering to operational and compliance regulation, training and competences, complaints, data protection and office procedure
  • Perform international money transfer for customers
  • Assist in inventory management
  • Adhering to health and safety regulation
  • Colleting, inputting, Store and retrieve information
  • Scheduling appointments and events
  • Use and maintain office equipment
  • Assist in digital marketing such as online and Social media
  • Researching company data and analyzing to produce a report
  • Sending promotional emails to potential and targeted customer
  • Provide administrative support in recruiting, selection and training process of the business
  • Working as a team
  • The applicant will have experience working in high standard financial sector and will be trained on anti money laundering policy by internal and external trading providers
  • The applicant will also have experience in working advanced Fintech Solutions and financial software

About Brighton MET (formerly City College Brighton and Hove)

Greater Brighton Metropolitan College (MET) was created from the merger of City College Brighton and Northbrook College Sussex. It is the college for our City and our region and draws on 150 years of heritage, history and experience.

The MET offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for 16 year olds leaving school, full and part time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university degrees. The MET operates across five campuses in Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing and teaches around 3,500 16-18 year olds, 7,500 adult learners, 1,000 undergraduates and 800 apprentices.
