Apprentice Customer Service Practitioner

You will be working under supervision, dealing with customer enquiries by phone and in person, replenishment of stock, receiving incoming deliveries, stock tracking and stock control. You will work towards a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard.
Apprenticeship summary
Weekly wage £129.00
Working week - Days and shifts to be confirmed, between Monday and Saturday.
Total hours per week: 30.00
Expected duration: 18 months
Apprenticeship level Intermediate
Level 2 (GCSE)
Responsibilities will include:
- Working under supervision you will be dealing with customers in person and by phone building good customer relations
- Replenishment of stock
- Receive incoming deliveries
- Process telephone and web orders
- Stock taking and stock control
- General cleaning duties
- Collating customer orders
- Dealing with the daily taking, handling money and working on the till
- Handling customers pets in store, fitting harnesses, collars and other accessories
- Handling frozen pet food (dead mice, reptiles and chicks)
- Providing assistance when required, helping customer to the car
Requirements and prospects

- Good customer service skills (the confidence to talk to customers in person and on the phone)

- Punctual
- Presentable appearance as working with the general public
- Self-motivated
- Physically fit
Desired qualifications
GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.
Future prospects
After successful completion of the apprenticeship a full-time permanent job with the company.

This vacancy is physically demanding, heavy lifting involved, unloading deliveries and standing for most of the day.
