Job Details

Based at Broadwater campus and West Durrington campus

Post 1 - 21 hours per week, full year working Monday to Thursday 1pm-5pm and Friday 9am-2pm based at our Broadwater campus

Post 2- 8 hours per week, term time only 36 weeks per year, working Monday & Tuesday 5pm-7pm based at our Broadwater campus and Wednesday & Thursday 5pm-7pm based at our West Durrington campus

Applicants can apply for either post or both posts together (please see specify on your application your preferred option)

We are seeking to appoint a part time Receptionist, to work afternoons and or early evenings, providing exceptional customer service, liaising with internal and external customers, providing first line advice and information on general course enquiries in person and on the telephone.

As the role involves dealing with students and staff, post holders will need to be  good communicators and have excellent customer care skills. Post holders must also be efficient in carrying out administrative tasks in a busy environment

Post holders will also operate the main switchboard.

You will require previous experience of working on a busy reception area within a large organization and good IT skills, also with the ability to work on your own initiative with a patient and calm approach to your work.  You should also have excellent communication skills with a positive can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Experience of working with young people some of whom have vulnerabilities, English as a second language or Special Educational Needs would also be very useful.
