This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Registry Services team where you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality professional services in the growing Academic Quality and Standards team.

You will work in the central team supporting quality and standards in the area of academic standards supporting the development and implementation of the University's academic regulations and assessment policies.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

To provide specialist advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders on the implementation and use of the University's quality assurance procedures, regulations and policies

To co-ordinate the development and review of University academic regulations, policy and procedure

To manage the coordination, development and implementation of the University’s External Examiners systems, policy and processes

To act as Officer/Secretary to high level strategic University Committees and panels, managing the business, providing effective information and overseeing resulting action

To lead and contribute to training and development workshops

To line manage the Quality and Standards Officer

You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent practical application of theoretical knowledge. You should have experience of planning and prioritising a range of work activities, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to interpret, apply and communicate complex regulations and procedures.
