Sessional IT Tutor

Aldridge Adult Learning is looking for a sessional IT tutor to teach Pearson Essential Digital Skills Entry 3 and level 1. Initially it will be for 15 weeks on a Monday evening from 7^th January 2022 from 1830 to 2100 and will be based at Chalky Road, Portslade. The hourly rate will be between £26.75 and £30.00 depending on experience and qualifications.

Aldridge Adult Learning offers a range of courses including those leading to accredited qualifications, to support adults to achieve their career goals, to those looking to develop a new hobby or interest.

The successful candidate will join a team passionately committed to supporting lifelong learning in the local area and will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Have experience of planning and delivering IT courses in schools, colleges or other training providers
• An understanding of the Essential Digital Skills Qualification
• The ability to work independently using own initiative
• The ability to prioritise tasks
• The ability to achieve set goals and targets within agreed timeframes
• Excellent timekeeping
