LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT FULL OR PART TIME /JOB SHARE (MATERNITY COVER) (To start January 2022 to July 2022)

NJC GRADE 4, points 5-6, £19,312 - £19,698 (£12,200 - £12,444 pro rata)

29 hours 10 minutes per week - Term Time Only plus INSET Days

Working hours: 08.30 – 15.20 (unpaid 1 hour lunch break)

Part time/job share will be considered

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and dynamic Learning Support Assistant who will support the teachers and the range of needs of a Key Stage 1 class. The successful postholder may also have the opportunity of supporting KS2, KS3 and KS4 across the Trust. It is essential that you have experience in working with children with Autistic Spectrum Condition. Secondments from within the Trust and WSCC will be considered.

The post is based in our rural village school in Clapham and Patching, which is in the heart of the South Downs. We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos, as we aim to provide the best possible education for all our children. A current First Aid qualification would be an advantage. We would like the successful candidates to fulfil a paid lunch time duty of 60 or 30 minutes each day (this is negotiable). The school has a commitment to safeguarding children and all staff posts are subject to satisfactory references, medical and enhanced DBS clearance.
