Job overview

Do you have an analytical background with a focus on technical leadership?

Does a role in the NHS, supporting crucial mental health services motivate you?

We are recruiting for a Reporting Lead to join us and provide technical leadership of performance reports across the Trust. As the Reporting Lead, you will be actively working with operational colleagues and other support services to ensure that our performance reporting is accurate, timely, consistent and provides a clear, easy to interpret overview of the Trust's position and progress.

You will be supporting the development of the PowerBI reporting suite to eventually become the primary reporting platform.

This role sits within the Performance and Improvement Team. You will be joining the team at an exciting time of development and expansion as we adapt and enhance our ways of working to meet the growing needs of the organisation for relevant, timely, accurate and clear data to inform and direct service development and improvements.

Main duties of the job

The key area of focus in this role will be to lead the team responsible for producing the Trust's integrated performance report (IPR) and associated reporting. This will include working with business managers and admin leads across the Trust to develop efficient reporting processes, ensuring that the datasets feeding the IPR (Integrated Performance Report) are accurate and consistent and provided to an agreed timetable.

You will be responsible for monitoring performance against agreed recovery action plans and supporting processes approved under the Trusts Integrated Assurance Framework. You will also be required to develop existing team heatmaps using PowerBI to provide reporting indicators for clinical teams. These heatmaps will include workforce, activity, finance and quality indicators.

You will need to use your team leadership skills, attention to detail, a creative, solution-focused approach and motivation to constantly improve the way we work.
