Cover Supervisors Required across all Curriculum Areas

DESCRIPTION

We are looking to recruit a pool of dedicated cover supervisors to support across the College to cover staff absence on a short- or medium-term basis and at times short notice. Bank and Full Time, Fixed Term Contracts are available for immediate starts.

If you hold a teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience and have a passion for supporting our students on an ad hoc basis then we would love to hear from you.

Cover lessons will have work fully set and planned, ready for your arrival. The role of a Cover Supervisor is to support a mixture of classes across a variety of subject areas during the absence of the regular class Teacher. Although you may not be a subject specialist, ensuring the students are kept on task is most important and good classroom management is a must.

Requirements:

• Be able to supervise students and establish a constructive and safe atmosphere in the classroom.
• Promote positive values, attitudes and workplace ready behaviour.
• Relevant qualification (at level 3 or above, degree preferable), inc. GCSE Maths, English
• Well organised
• Ability to support students and keep them on task
• Motivated to work with students/young people.
• This position is subject an Enhanced DBS
