Experience is not essential but a willingness to learn and become part of a friendly busy team is. Your role will involve the production of a wide variety of packaging materials and could involve working in different areas of production as required, 2 days are rarely the same!

Duties of the Production Assistant

• Machine operating
• Assembly of packaging materials
• Following of technical drawings (once trained)
• Quality inspecting products
• Use of tools for cutting packaging materials
• Counting and checking products
• Packing of products

Required Skills

• Previous experience in a role requiring accuracy and attention to detail
• Numeracy skills
• An awareness of the importance of health and safety in a warehousing environment
• Reliable– a good timekeeper and good attendance record
• Clear Communication skills both written and verbal
