Job overview

To work within the Clinical Development and Education Team to have a lead role in the development of the proactive in-house education and development provision for to a wide variety of registered and non-registered clinical staff across the spectrum of clinical practice teams. The post-holder will work as part of a multi-professional team, collaborating to harness the existing expertise in the team and supporting the delivery of current programmes of learning. The post holder will be a Registered Nurse or AHP with a qualification in education.

Main duties of the job

Current priorities are: supporting the specialist practice students undergoing training programmes; creating virtual and innovative programmes to engage learners and develop practitioners, and supporting and facilitating supervision, enabling reflective practice and action learning to be embedded in practice. You need to be confident and ready to develop teaching and coaching skills using a blended approach of face to face, virtual and simulation training in clinical, non-clinical and virtual environments.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
You will be a competent practitioner with a variety of clinical skills which are practiced regularly, enabling you to share these skills with others in formal and non-formal settings. You will be confident using a variety of IT applications. You will have good attention to detail and enjoy a mixture of clinical, managerial and autonomous working.
