We're a growing Social Media Agency focused on working for the good guys. We work with Charities, NGOs, and purpose-driven organisations to help them make a difference and impact on social media. We're a small, but growing team of friendly, hard-working people. We're flexible at work, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely. 

The Role 

This is a role that combines strategic work with day-to-day social content and communications work. The right candidate will be able to work on a consultative basis and have the experience and confidence to develop social media strategies for some clients but also be able to manage day-to-day publishing schedules for other clients. The focus of your role is: 1. Support the implementation of social media strategies for our clients: conduct audits, market research & develop and document tailored objectives, content plans, campaigns and tactics. 2. Meticulously plan, create and schedule social media content for our clients. 3. Contribute to marketing strategies for Social For Good that generates inbound leads, engagement with target audiences, follower growth, and creates a positive image for the company. 4. Manage and our client social media accounts; planning content and copywriting. The rest of the team: ● Managing Director (strategist and trainer, oversees organic management) ● Director (handles all paid campaigns, paid training, business development) ● Community Manager (manages marketing calendars, publishing schedules, monitoring, engagement) ● Social media strategist (runs workshops, creates strategies, presents to clients) ● Social media manager (manages client social accounts in alignment with agreed strategy) ● Freelance support (copywriting and content creation)

General Skills Required

● A very high standard of English, both written and verbal, is essential ● High level of attention to detail ● Excellent verbal and written skills ● Flair for creative writing and marketing ● Ability to multi-task ● Able to work as part of a team ● Excellent time management and organisation skills ● High level of numeracy ● Experience and up to date knowledge of social media ● Hard working ● Punctual and reliable ● Highly motivated and have the drive to succeed ● Hungry to learn and able to meet deadlines ● Keen to learn and develop new skills/knowledge ● Positive and enthusiastic attitude ● Fun and confident personality ● Has initiative and problem-solving skills ● Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision ● Analytical and resourceful mind ● Strong copywriting skills ● Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a rapidly growing and changing business ● Passionate and able to display knowledge of Social Media & Digital Marketing ● We are looking for a candidate that wants a career in Digital Marketing Technical

Technical Skills Required

● A keen interest in digital online technologies ● Knowledge and experience of using Adobe Photoshop would be advantageous ● Experience in the use of social media management systems would be advantageous ● Knowledge of HTML would be advantageous ● Personal digital marketing experience (blog, social media etc. ● Advantageous to understand or have used an analytics package such as Google Analytics.

Training to be provided

You will undertake the Digital Marketer Level 3 apprenticeship. 

Apprentices will receive a mixture of on and off-the-job training in addition to monthly sessions with a Training Coach. Training will be provided at our Training Centre in Brighton and our Training Coaches will offer support and guidance in the workplace where apprentices will gain on-the job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to begin their career in Digital Marketing.

​The Apprenticeship includes:

  • BCS Certificate in Marketing Principles
  • BCS Certificate in Principles of Coding
  • Google Analytics IQ


Apprentices will be required to build a portfolio of evidence of workplace activities to demonstrate that they have achieved the required level of skills and knowledge for the qualification programme.

During the 15 months of training you will learn cutting edge theory and industry practice across three Knowledge Modules:

Marketing Principles – starting with the basics you will learn how to effectively target customers based on their wants and desires as well as how the sales and marketing funnels work. You will understand what makes customers buy or not buy and how marketing can influence this as well as how to effectively focus on target markets and manage customers to make them loyal to a business.

How the Web Works – delving into the techniques you will learn the Principles of Coding and how marketers create effective websites, designs and user interfaces. This includes how web design and development drive engagement and conversions.

Driving Return on Investment – using data to create detailed customer insight, you will learn how to use industry-leading platforms (including Google Analytics) to understand the online customer journey and improve your marketing based on customer usage of your website.

Functional Skills:

English and maths Level 2 - if GCSE Grade C or above, (level 4-9) has not already been achieved.
