Job Details
Based at our Central Campus, Brighton
37 hours per week, full year.
Fixed term until July 2023
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to manage the data requirements and general administration for the College’s Pastoral Team. The person appointed will have responsibility for data and compliance for the College’s Pastoral & Enrichment services. The post also carries with it the responsibility for developing systems to meet the needs of the Student Services department.
The role requires an individual who is committed and enthusiastic, with exceptional interpersonal skills and with advanced data management and administrative skills. Proven communication, planning and organisational abilities are essential. The post is pivotal in ensuring the Pastoral department meets its funding and performance targets. The ability to work within a flexible environment to tight timescales is a necessity.
You should hold GCSE Maths and English (minimum grade C) or equivalent and hold a level 3 qualification.
You should have the following:-
- The ability to deal with complex data systems and ensure data integrity.
- High level of confidentiality and ability to manage situations with tact and sensitivity.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage a complex workload with differing priorities.
- IT - high level skills in Excel , Word and email
- Word processing/typing skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Strong IT skills, to include MIS data reporting systems.
- A flexible and positive approach to work hours to meet College needs.
