Job Details
Based in Worthing this well-established chartered accountancy practice are looking to recruit a keen, ambitious Accounts Assistant to work alongside the Director and 2 other members of staff. The ideal candidate will have completed the AAT Bookkeeping Level 2 certificate (merit or distinction), and are looking to progress onto the next level.
This job will suit an enthusiastic individual who will fit into their small friendly firm and become an invaluable member of the team. You will provide support to a wide range of businesses and individuals on a day to day basis.
Day to day you can expect to be:
- Bookkeeping for limited companies
- Management accounts adjustments (prepayments, accruals etc)
- Assisting other staff with reports, Excel summaries, data checks etc
- Troubleshooting client problems with their bookkeeping software
- Sole trader accounts
- Self-Assessment tax returns
- Setting up cloud accounting systems (Xero & Dext)
- Administration (maintaining database, client onboarding, scanning, electronic filing etc)
Training will also be provided, including Excel, Xero, Dext, Taxcalc, anti-money laundering and more.
