What will the apprentice be doing?

Ortus is a 100% remote recruitment company founded mid-pandemic in 2021; specialising in sales and marketing roles within tech start-ups in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia.

We are looking to hire a Digital Marketing Apprentice to work alongside our Business Operations & Marketing Manager.


Your role will be focused on driving engagement with both clients and candidates for Ortus across multiple digital channels. 


Plan, develop and implement engaging content for us across all digital platforms - including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, website and blog.
Write content for newsletters, blogs and webinars
Respond appropriately to queries and questions across social platforms
Attend marketing planning and implementation meetings as required
Provide administrative support to the team as required and other duties as reasonably required by the Marketing Manager and team
Be super creative and willing to create new ideas and really make an impact

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will undertake the Junior Content Producer Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Apprentices will receive a mixture of on and off-the-job training in addition to monthly sessions with a Training Coach. Training will be provided at our Training Centre in Brighton and our Training Coaches will offer support and guidance in the workplace where apprentices will gain on-the job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to begin their career in Digital Marketing.

Digital and Content Producer Apprentice. You will be provided with core digital support across a range of key digital areas including web content management, content creation (using Adobe InDesign and photoshop), social media, Mailchimp, and other apps for ensuring the smooth running of the company with a focus on producing brilliant content

Training:

You will be trained in:

planning content strategies
developing content
creating and evaluating the content
wide understanding of the media industry
optimising web content for to ensure high search engine rankings
researching ideas and concepts
presenting client pitches and proposals
Functional Skills:

English and maths Level 2 - if GCSE Grade C or above, (level 4-9) has not already been achieved.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We will offer a full-time position to the right person to work with our small and tightly knit team moving forward. (Most of our apprentices work hard, achieve their apprenticeship qualification, develop sought-after skills and are then employed on an ongoing basis after their apprenticeship). 

Creative Process Digital currently have a 92% retention rate of apprentices being offered permanent employment at the end of their apprenticeship.

Things to consider

The role is a mix of remote (3-4 days) but will also be able to be in the office (1-2 days), working once a week in the Platf9rm (Hove Town Hall) with the Founder and other team members based in Brighton.

Annual wage £16,500.00

 

Up to £16,500 a year. The wage advertised is DOE and educational history.

 

Working week Monday - Thursday 9 - 6pm and Friday 9am - 3.30pm
