Description:

B&CE have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Learning & Development Manager to effectively manage and develop the Learning & Development (L&D) function supporting the delivery of all L&D activity and key projects across the business.

This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office.

Main Purpose:

To effectively manage and develop the Learning & Development (L&D) function supporting the delivery of all L&D activity and key projects across the business. Contribute to the business success by training and developing its people ensuring the workforce is able to meet the changing needs of the business.

We want to create a learning organisation and a coaching culture, and you’ll be collaborating with colleagues in the HR team, management teams and employees to understand the strengths of the business and the areas where Organisational Capability can further contribute to the growth and development of B&CE.

Skills & Experience:

Essential

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Current up to date knowledge of effective learning and development methods, best practice and industry standards
  • Confidence and skill in designing and delivering L&D initiatives and evaluating impact
  • Group/business level training needs analysis
  • Design and delivery of training workshops/development programmes
  • Procurement and management of 3rd party L&D service providers


Preferred

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
  • Experience of using/implementing SAGE performance management, talent management and Learning Management systems (LMS)
  • Coaching skill and experience
  • Previous experience of planning and delivering key corporate L&D projects
  • Induction programme design/delivery/management


Desirable

  • L&D functional experience in a financial services organisation
  • Experience of using, designing and implementing digital learning solutions
  • Previous experience and understanding of FCA regulations, Training & Competence (T&C) framework environment
  • Understanding of Apprentice levy, providers, and programmes
