Electrician: Trans Data Management

The Role:

Qualified to 18th Edition, an Electrician who can demonstrate strong leadership abilities and organisational skills.  Must be passionate about engineering developments and able to efficiently troubleshoot systems.  The majority of our Contracts are currently Commercial and on the Railway Network (stations and platforms) and the Company is embarking on Electric Charging installations so Railway PTS and EV Charging Training and or experience would be definite advantages! 

Job Title: Electrician

Reporting to: Director

Liaison Internally: Engineers and Associates, Administration

Liaison Externally: Customers, Sub-contractors and Suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising and building relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are completed to specifications within deadlines.
• Must be able to develop, review, recommend modifications and approve design plans and schedules.
• Maintain and improve existing electrical systems/processes.
• Perform Diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment.
• Assisting with training where required (supervising Improver / Labourer).
• Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.

Qualifications, experience and competences for the post listed:

• A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering (at least 18^th Edition).
• Extensive practical experience in Electrical Installs including EV Charging.
• Will be required to complete online PTS training and medical (to incl Drug & Alc) prior to joining if not already held.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have full UK Driving Licence and be prepared to work on occasions at night, weekends, but mainly to stay away from home during the week.

Remuneration Package:

Salary: £ Dependant on experience & NEST Pension Scheme.

Expenses / Bonus: Expenses when away & Part of Engineering Bonus Scheme.

Mileage: Paid after the first 50 miles of your daily journey if using own vehicle.

Working Week: Nominally 40 hours per week.

Annual Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum, in addition to recognised Bank/Public Holidays.

Location: Based in and around Crawley (Parent Co. office) but will be travelling (predominantly S & SW UK)
