We are a 12 bedded mixed sex ward based within Langley Green Hospital in Crawley. Crawley is situated closely to London and Brighton and benefits from a thriving, vibrant and diverse community.

Main duties of the job

If you come and join our team on Amber Ward, you will enhance your knowledge of the PICU pathway and also have the opportunity to work within the 136 suite. You will work collaboratively with other wards and services within the hospital and the wider community, including forensic services and the police.

On Amber Ward we strive to reduce restrictive practice at all times and as a team we are passionate about how we can continue to achieve this. If this is your passion as well, then please come and join our team!

This post offers a Golden Hello, or a Relocation package up to a maximum of £2000. (pro rata applies and subject to terms and conditions. Please see attached Protocol document).

Knowledge/Experience
Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of MHA (1983/2007).
  • Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act (2005), to include practical knowledge of FACE documentation, DOLS and Best Interest decisions.
  • Child and Adult safe guarding procedures.
